OUR STAGE – THIRD ACT
JÁ collaborated with Theater am Lend (Austria) on a one week creative process resulting in an original performance designed by Christian Winkler for the OUR STAGE ERASMUS+ project (see our Erasmus page).
The project aims to equip young Romani artists from 7 EU countries – Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Spain, Netherlands, Austria, Greece and Portugal – with competencies and skills aimed at combatting stereotypes and promoting positive Roma narratives.
This third act, based on the metaphor of Theseus’ boat, interrogated the construction of Romani identity.
