«Who am I to you? », the oldest question that simmers underneath in infinite variations in tales of being human, asked on the precipice, on the brink of things, of the only constant there is – Change, which is the immortal engine driving UNCERTAIN MOVES, an exploration of the thing that endures through change- through repeated cycles of birth labours, the same story respawned, refined and re-tooled over 3 generations of Greek mythology- from Uranus and Gaia, through Kronos and Rhea, to the advent of the Gods, led by the cloud gatherer, Zeus, the story of creation, perfecting itself through multiple iterations, and growing in complexity till the characters are forged and honed to their very essence, change, dangerous and yet, familiar, like a lullaby of the primordial night, pregnant with promise, simmering in tales untold, and the beguiling invitation of chance encounters, and the glorious uncertainties on the cusp of change. These are stories embodied through movement, silhouetted on film and felt through gestures, of the character of physical law, that work their wandering in the tales of creation that Narcissus and Echo tell themselves and each other, of who they are, and what they could be, and discovering that being human means being both harbinger and aftermath of tales of the world foaming at the mouth, waiting to be told, all waiting for the riptide of time to carry them to destiny’s end, where the words of the world are woven to the playful twinkling of unabashed moonlight.
