Breathless Alive!

In a future where humanity has been culled by a plague of engineered bacteria, and machines (mechas) run an algorithmised society, two strangers meet in a psychological evaluation room, one a relic of a wayward history and the other bearing the desperate face of the present, ready to flee the consequences of past choices. As the session spirals inexorably towards a raw confrontation between past dreads and future hopes, histories will be unearthed and stories rewritten as they both begin to realise that to step into the future, one must sometimes survive the haunted ashfields of the past, and not everyone makes it out at the other end.
